Sitting Pretty

The male bullfinch is an impressive bird. He has a rich and distinctive red body with a delicate white bottom, which he flashes at you as he hurries off. They are usually shy birds and often prefer to hide in the trees and bushes. This confident little man obligingly perched to show off his best side.
